JUAL Group has merged its four Danish companies.

The four JUAL Group companies, Bygtjek A/S, Fixnordic A/S, JUAL A/S and Perform A/S, have since 2019 shared services such as IT, marketing, product development and bookkeeping via the parent company JUAL Group A/S. Now, JUAL Group has trimmed its sails further and merged the four companies, which all develop/produce/sell roof and facade products for the construction industry. The new company is called JUAL A/S.

Ambitious growth target

Since 1968, the Juelsminde-based company has grown from a small plumbing company to a manufacturing company with customers at home and abroad, 220 employees and a turnover of half a billion euros. And the development does not stop here, says CEO of JUAL A/S, Ib Floutrup: "We have ambitious growth targets and we see a potential in the markets to intensify our turnover in the coming years. The merger will therefore not cost jobs - on the contrary. Ib Floutrup elaborates: "We will create growth through a stronger joint sales organization in the Danish market, increased focus on product development and not least a significantly increased focus on export activities, which today account for 40% of our total turnover.

Room for growth

Such growth requires space, so for the past 10 years, JUAL Group has acquired land in an industrial area on the outskirts of Juelsminde. Anders Kjær Jørgensen, CEO of JUAL Group A/S says: "Actually, we would have preferred to expand on Industrivej, where JUAL has had its headquarters since the early seventies. But the expansion possibilities on Industrivej are limited, so we have continuously purchased commercial properties and commercial land on the outskirts of Juelsminde, where we will gather all our activities in the future.

Continuation of values and local anchoring

Since its establishment in 1968, JUAL has been a value-based company with strong roots in the local community. The credit goes to the company's founders, Anne-Marie and Svend Jørgensen - parents of Anders Kjær Jørgensen. Anders says: "My parents created a culture where the workplace became more than just a place to clock in from 7:00 to 15:00. It became a sense of belonging. And the management of JUAL A/S and I wanted to continue this way of seeing our colleagues and workplace. And, with the usual Jutlandic modesty, we think we have succeeded - and we are very aware that we need to keep an extra watchful eye on this in connection with the merger.
