Effective protection and elegant finish

A properly installed parapet cover is essential for protecting masonry against moisture damage and weathering over time. With a parapet cover profile from JUAL, you get a robust and aesthetic solution that ensures effective drainage while giving the parapet a clean, stylish appearance.

Parapet covers are typically manufactured in materials such as aluminium, zinc or copper, all of which combine high durability with an elegant, timeless look. In addition to protecting the wall surface against rainwater, frost and dirt, a well-designed finish also enhances the architectural lines of the building.

Long-lasting materials

At JUAL, we manufacture parapet covers in several materials depending on requirements and the character of the building:

  • Aluminium: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to maintain – ideal for modern constructions

  • Zinc: A classic choice with natural patination that protects the surface over time

  • Copper: Provides an exclusive appearance and extremely long lifespan thanks to the metal’s natural durability.

Easy installation with correct structure

Installing a parapet cover is actually quite straightforward if the right precautions are taken. The first step is to ensure that the substrate is properly constructed with an adequate slope away from the wall. A wedge-shaped base creates the necessary fall, allowing rainwater to drain efficiently and preventing water from penetrating the masonry.

The substrate can, for example, consist of rough boards, which provide a stable base for the cover. If plywood is used, it is recommended to install an intermediate layer between the plywood and the metal to prevent moisture accumulation and subsequent erosion of the material.

Once the substrate is in place, the parapet cover is fixed with concealed fastenings to achieve a clean, uninterrupted line. With our Parapet Cover 12 solutions, it is easy to ensure a precise and professional finish.
