Bayer Vitrotec sold to Danish JUAL Group A/S

On March 1^st2025 Frank Bayer sold all activities in Bayer Vitrotec GmbH to Danish JUAL Group, which has developed, produced and sold building materials for the roofing and facade industry since 1968.

JUAL Group has its head office, production and sales in Juelsminde, Denmark, and production and sales in Suzhou, China. The group sells its products worldwide and employs approximately 330 employees with an annual turnover of EUR 80 million.

JUAL Group - the obvious buyer

Frank Bayer, who continues as factory director with responsibility for products, quality and operations, says: I wanted to sell to a buyer who would make use of my experience and skills in the development and production of self-adhesive sealing tapes. And who wants to develop the company in collaboration with me.

So it was an obvious purchase for JUAL Group, which sees a strong synergy in its existing flashing product, FastFlash, and the products and skills that lie within Bayer Vitrotec.

JUAL Group has employed all employees in addition to Frank Bayer and continues operations at the company's premises in Hanstedt, Germany.

Increased activity

JUAL GmbH will establish a German sales organization over the coming months to maintain and develop sales of flashing materials and other selected products in German-speaking countries. In addition, the combined sales organization in JUAL Group will represent all Bayer Vitrotec products in all other markets.

Anders Kjær Jørgensen, main shareholder and managing director of JUAL Group A/S and JUAL GmbH says; Through JUAL Group's existing sales organization, we want to bring Bayer Vitrotec’s products to the markets in which JUAL Group already operates. And with the increased sales activity, we expect to be able to create increased turnover and activity at the factory in Hanstedt.
